Economy of scale is a fact. You can save real money on fabric and labor doing all your chairs,
booths, cushions at once. At the very least, buy all the fabric you'll need for the whole project
at one time. Wholesalers & mills cancel colors and patterns all the time.
Building a frame to an "artist"'s design.
The frame sprung & upholstered.
6 chair frames from a local furniture
maker. Curved back & seats built &
upholstered to fit; $250-350/chr labor.
Takes about 3 hides for 6.
Frame built by a serious amateur. Upholstered in
leather. 3-4 hides; springs & cushioning(but not
leather) provided; $1400-1800.
Building it yourself? Let us look at the plans before you start. Save yourself some money; and
you'll be able to sit comfortably, besides.
We sent the client to a cabinetmaker &
he included our costs in his bid.
A furniture maker built a table, &
needed a set of chairs.
We build, upholster and reupholster restaurant booths. They don't make interesting pictures. Go
to our "Contact Us" page, and phone, fax, or e-mail your issues, and we'll get back to you
promptly.
